…and a Happy New Year!

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas. Mine was good, but,
went by all too quick. Over the break, I have managed to, for lack
of a better word, avoid any writing, except a couple of pages. I
plan on having it finished somewhere between January 28 – February
10, 2011. After “Dreaming Wide Awake” is completely finished, I
will begin using Blurb – a self-publishing software/site – give it
a final edit, and have it released somewhere between late-March or
early-April. Post-“Dreaming Wide Awake” is where things get
interesting; fun. “For Those Who Don’t Learn From History” – my
second book, set in a post-apocalyptic world – will begin probably
in June. So, two months of preparation. Speaking of FTWDLFH, I got
this nifty little gift for Christmas. Called “Paper Blanks”, they
are unusual, yet cool-styled journals. Yes, while built for
journals, I am going to use it for my first draft of “For Those Who
Don’t Learn From History”.

For those
wondering, the title is based off of George Santayana’s quote,
“Those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” Have
a good day. Joel
